The Vanguard wasn’t born in a boardroom. It began as a decade-old concept, revived by PROOF co-founder and lead designer as a hands-on build challenge — a personal test in machining, tolerancing, and technical mastery. What started as a training exercise became an obsession. 

The final result? A pen that had to exist.

Replacing your ink:

  1. Unscrew CLIP BOLT ONLY using 1.5mm Allen
  2. Pull off clip (place thumb on top of pen to avoid launching components)
  3. Remove piston rod, old ink & spring
  4. Insert new ink, spring & piston
  5. Reassemble
